This visit takes place every year and is covered by the programming of the university degree in order that students of Social Education directly know the most emblematic buildings that were important to the protection of children into the eighteenth and twentieth . The Department of Social Welfare and Women's Hall of Cartagena is currently located in this building.
A social educator has collaborated in this initiative and has made ​​a tour of the various departments of La Milagrosa, giving a talk on the different socio stages through passed the children who were interned at the House of Mercy until the beginning of the century XXI.
The students, who on this occasion were fifty, have been accompanied by Pedro Luis Moreno, professor of social pedagogy of the UMU.
Antonio Mula, coordinator of Social Services, has shared the last phase of the visit, greeted them on behalf of the City of Cartagena and thanked them for the interest shown throughout the morning.
