The VII Congress of District 2203 Rotary International starts Friday 8 May.
This morning, the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro has received the 300 Rotarians attending the conference, at the Palace Hall.
The presentations take place in the hall of the Old Isaac Peral CIM, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
In addition, they conduct tours of the port city.
This weekend, specifically on Friday May 8 and May 9 Saturday morning, Cartagena is home to 300 members of the 1,500 that are part of the 70 clubs in District 2203 which includes the communities of the Balearics, Valencia, Murcia and Andalucía.
The conference will be to share the contributions of social action and leverage for sightseeing, conducting guided by the most emblematic places of Cartagena as the Roman Theatre, the Arqua, Naval Museum and the Roman Forum views.
The presentations will be held in the hall of the Old Isaac Peral CIM, which intervene Arqua director Ivan Negueruela, speaking of the city of Cartagena, and the representative of Rotary International, Julius Caesar, who explained how is being organized partnerships to support Nepal earthquake.
The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro received Rotarians speaking of the beauty of the city and the numerous landmarks that have to see.
Rotarians have gifted the mayor with a flower.
