Employment Opportunities in the ICT Sector in the Region of Murcia have focused the thirteenth edition of Telecofórum which has hosted the School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSIT) of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) in the annual forum of the Society Information SICARM Murcia.
"The jobs for engineers in the ICT sector have been in the past six years to represent 4% of the total to 13%, according to a recent study by Adecco", he stressed at the opening of Telecoforum Leandro Juan, director of the School Teleco.
"82% of graduates in Telecommunications Engineering from the UPCT find a job in less than a year after completing their studies, and 23% find it at least a month", he has also highlighted the director ETSIT.
"They are used in various sectors, from the food to aerospace," he added.
The director general of Research, Innovation and Information Society of the CARM, Celia Martinez, recalled for his part that the Integra Foundation supports since 2003 "this extremely positive initiative."
He praised "the labor market orientation and entrepreneurship" UPCT.
A panel discussion on the chances of getting a first job that generated the Network of Chairs UPCT and conferences on entrepreneurship in the digital world have labor optical remarcad this day.
Telecofórum flock to companies, public institutions, research groups and departments of the University related to Information Technology and Telecommunications (ICT).
As in previous years, we have included the presentation of the research groups, the Association of Young Researchers of Cartagena and professional associations.
