Cartagena in late May will host a series of activities to mark European Maritime Day, organized by the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Cartagena City Council, the Port Authority and Naval Technology Center and the Sea will be a photo contest, workshops , seminars and conferences and boardwalks and observation of cetaceans, with which transmit to society the importance of the sea and its environment.
This year's European Maritime Day will focus on the role of ports and coasts and marine engines access to growth. They will address issues such as job creation, sustainability and competitiveness in the maritime regions.
FICO PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
So since last April 30 is open within a photography contest organized through the Facebook profile of Naval Technology Center and the Sea https://www.facebook.com/CTNInnova
There are two modes: a photograph of the ports and coasts of Murcia, whose prize will be embarking along with a companion on a boat in a day of whale watching;
and one of the headlights of the Region of Murcia, whose prize is a tour of the lighthouse at Cabo de Palos with a companion.
To enter, contestants must submit a photograph according to topic involving email concursodiadelmar2015@ctnaval.com indicating the author of the photograph and facilitating the means by which you wish to be contacted in case of winning.
Once the photo has been published on Facebook CTN send a confirmation email to the contestant.
The photos will be published in the album Are you pictures of ports and coasts in the region of Murcia¿ or headlights? Photographs Region Murcia¿ according to the modality to which they belong. The winners will be the authors of the 6 photographs more gusta¿ do I have received in the category of ports and coasts and four more photographs gusta¿ I have received in the category of lights.
The contest will be resolved on May 22.
DAYS, walks and visits
From 26 to May 29 they will be held catamaran rides along the harbor.
May 27 will be held a scientific seminar on underwater noise at Naval Facilities Technology Center and the Sea
On Friday May 29, at the Port Authority a conference on The Importance of ports as facilitators of economic activity and the generation of empleo¿ will be developed;
while a special program Onda Cero radio will sound and an Information Center Europe Direct Murcia was installed in the port of Cartagena available to all citizens.
Saturday May 30 will be a day visiting the lighthouse at Cabo de Palos directed to the winners of the photo contest on Facebook and on Friday 29, Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 days of whale watching will be developed.
