Senior Day has tried topical issues of interest to the group of elderly such as inheritances, the new roles of the elderly or their role in the media.
La Jornada has been developed at UNED and has been addressed to the presidents of the 43 clubs in the Third Age of the municipality. For the closing have attended the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro.

In areas such as home care, the mayor has thrown evidence that performance in this regard are increasing year by year up to the present day where 1,200 older programs serve as telecare, the respite care and meals on wheels.
Pilar Barreiro also had words for activities that help older as is the gerontogimnasia: This activity to which we assigned 39 senior clubs is to encourage healthy lifestyles and good physical and mental state.
