Ornamental, horticultural and aromatic plants may be purchased during this week in booth students of the School of Agricultural UPCT installed at the gates of the Town Hall, during the Flower Week.
The goal is to raise funds for two NGOs such as ITER and Agronomists Without Borders.
The students of the School of Agricultural UPCT grown during all these plants to sell throughout this week, so we can make a profit for donation to NGOs ITER (Development of Agricultural Projects for children) and Agronomists Without Borders .
One of the coordinators of this event, Miguel Ángel Casanova explained that these partnerships are going to Third World countries and teach people to install their own greenhouses, to grow and be able to feed themselves.
He also explained that the flowers are sold more often or begonia petunia.
As every year, it is very successful, even asking us to do more often.
