Cartagena was yesterday the scene of dance and music.
About 400 students danced in the arts during the morning in the Plaza del Rey and in the afternoon, the school St. Vincent de Paul of Cartagena organized a new choreography against truancy on the Esplanade of the Port and the Plaza del Icue.
The Plaza del Rey welcomed during yesterday morning 400 pupils performed a flashmob with the slogan Cartagena for the Arts. The youth came from all levels and various secondary education centers of Cartagena (Polytechnic, Los Molinos, and St. Isaac Peral Lucia and Leonardo Da Vinci College Los Belones).
The activity was attended by the councilors of Education, Josefa Maroto, Youth, Ruth Collins, and Women, Clara Heredia.
But the desire to dance did not end, as the afternoon another flashmob organized by the students of the Colegio San Vicente Paul of Cartagena, in collaboration with two other center was organized, one in Madrid and one in Cuenca.
The choreography was performed twice, once in the Esplanade of the port, at 19.00, and Icue Square, at 19.30.
This activity occurs as a result of a project sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports to combat truancy and also promotes education in basic skills through musical theater.
