Wednesday, May 29, was held at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Cartagena an information day for entrepreneurs and professionals about the new licensing procedures in urban planning.
As it explained by the Town Planning, Francisco Espejo, the enactment of the recent Law 13/2015 of Land and Urban Planning of the Region of Murcia has been a significant change in obtaining these authorizations, traditionally known as building permits.
In their interventions noted that the municipal officers will be maintained even if the building permit process, it s and reserved for what is commonly known as major works. On the contrary, for those known as minor works are designed two new procedures called Prior communication and responsible statement, based on the simplicity of the work to be performed.
Basically, both procedures will mean for citizens immediacy that they can start work with the mere submission of a letter to the administration and stating their intention to comply with all applicable requirements.
And the works will start on the same day of the presentation.
The Le and will take effect next week and right now, the Department of Planning and Infrastructure is in the process of adaptation to the new procedures, enabling new forms and staff training.
At the conference an overview of the developments involving this system with a reminder of the procedures for activities and the relationship between them was given.
In the presentation was the president of the Chamber, Miguel Martinez, next to the Town Planning, Francisco Espejo.
He acted as moderator coordinator Planning and Infrastructure, Jesus Lopez, while the presentations were given by technicians of Greater Urbanism, Paloma Rodriguez, Antonio da Silva, Maria Dolores Gimeno and Joshua Perez.
At the end a brief discussion turn to professionals present was opened.
