Effective Fire Station City of Cartagena managed to quell the early hours of Sunday afternoon the fire that occurred on the ninth floor of Neptune Street, in the so-called Casas de Peralta.
The fire originated at 13.15 hours in a room of the house.
The flames reached high virulence affecting the inside floor of the upstairs room, which was closed and various building services such as water and electricity.
The interior of the house was completely smoked.
There were no injuries to register.
Firefighters accessed the property by the stairwell while people were evicted lower floors.
The upper floor balcony were confined to extinction, because the fire was controlled.
