On the occasion of the commemoration, Wednesday April 22, the National Day of Cystic Fibrosis (fourth Wednesday of April), the Murcia Cystic Fibrosis Association has undertaken several actions in the region, including the installation of a table informative in Cénit Mall.
There, a group of Cartagena volunteers have been giving information about this disease to all citizens who have come, highlighting the visit of the Minister of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, who wanted to give their support to this group.
One of the main actions claiming the Spanish Federation of Cystic Fibrosis is urgent administration of drugs that slow the disease, with the slogan With new drugs, my future YA possible.
Cystic fibrosis is a common degenerative disease that primarily affects the respiratory and digestive systems, severe genetic disease incidence in our country is estimated around one in 5,000 births, while one in 35 people are healthy carriers the disease.
