More than two hundred high school students from different municipalities in the region will meet from tomorrow, Friday, investigations carried out in the Experimental Station Thomas Ferro Agroalimentaria School of Agricultural UPCT.
Half of the students will visit the farm tomorrow.
The rest will do the 24th.
Students will learn the program of recovery and conservation of Murcia hen;
processing of fresh fruit and vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, peaches and apples;
hydroponic and tropical crops, vetegales batteries and cultivation of legumes for sustainable agriculture and fermenting beer, among other lines of research.
Students attending morning come from Fuente Alamo, Murcia, Aguilas, Cartagena and La Union.
These visits are part of the ninth edition of "Routes Teachers Agroalimentarios", organized by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity.
The aim is to promote studies in agricultural engineering among students of Secondary Education in the Region of Murcia and capture technological vocations.
