The Municipal League Athletics Intercentros its third year with 400 participants from 20 different schools in the city and county.
It will be on 13, 14 and April 15 when the previous phase and 21 is held where the finals.
It will be at the Municipal Athletics Track and pass to the final top eight centers.
The main objectives of this sporting event are approaching the sport of athletics and competition, promotion of athletics from the base to the young athlete athletes and highlight values.
The 400 participants are primary school children must meet the requirement of being born between 2003 and 2004.
Qualifying is divided in three groups participating in three different days:
- Group A (Monday April 13): Antonio Ullosa, Gabriela Mistral, Carmelites, Concepción Arenal, City Garden and Franciscans.
- Group B (Tuesday April 14): Stella Maris, Mare Nostrum, Virgen del Carmen, Vicente Medina, Four Saints, San Felix and Salesians.
- Group C (Wednesday April 15): San Antonio Abad, Narwhal, San Vicente Paul, Santa Florentina (La Palma), Luis Calandre, Feliciano Sanchez and Beethoven.
The Municipal Athletic League is organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, within the ADE Program (School Sports Programme developed by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena in collaboration with the Directorate General of Physical Activity and Sport Autonomous) Community Elcano Athletics Club, helping the Athletics Federation of Murcia and Cartagena UCAM club.
