The Polytechnic University of Cartagena hosts today and tomorrow the seventh edition of the international congress European Conference on Intellectual Capital (ECIC), attended by over one hundred researchers worldwide covering topics such as the successful management of Intellectual Capital, a discipline key to innovation and organizational learning, social networking, knowledge management and information technology and comuniación (ICT).
This year, the ECIC will concentrate on promoting the contributions that deal with the acquisition, creation and distribution of collective intelligence through social networking and entertainment communities as a way of measuring and communicating the "unknown" to take advantage of these new tools.
Also, try to channel all the knowledge provided by the participants at the event to discover new practical and functional solutions that impact in boosting the economy and the generation of generative innovations.
The aim of the conference is to promote the exchange of knowledge through social networks, because they are sources of intellectual capital.
However, most companies do not know how to use these networks.
The conference will encourage contributions dealing with the acquisition, creation and distribution of collective intelligence through social networking and entertainment communities.
The ECIC is included in the database of Thomson Reuters ISI Index to Social Sciences & Humanities Proceedings (ISSHP / ISI Proceedings) and the EBSCO database of Conference Proceedings and offers the possibility to publish in international journals improve reference and Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management or the Journal of Knowledge Economy.
