Twenty students of vocational training in the region can make their training practices in multinational Chairs Network Technology Companies of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) from this course.
This follows the collaboration agreement signed today by the rector, José Antonio Franco, and the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, to promote these studies.
The agreement also provides that the vocational training teachers can record their classes at the Center for Digital Content Production UPCT.
Under the agreement, the UPCT soon launch a training call through the companies in its Technology Network Chairs.
Thus, each of the twelve chairs can accommodate two trainees who attend training courses Professional Training Module Training Job Center.
The coordinator of the Network of Chairs, Alejandro Diaz, said that the practices allow students of vocational training to acquire knowledge of the organization and characteristics of the productive sector and learn to work together.
The Rector of the Polytechnic, José Antonio Franco, stressed that the agreement is "a step in the collaboration of the UPCT with vocational training. Already VET students make each year internship at the University and teachers who work with our research groups, "he added.
The Polytechnic University of Cartagena has launched a Chairs Network Technology Companies in which there are already a dozen multinationals and companies like Santander, Telefonica, MTorres, Hidrogea, G'S Spain, Indra or Sabic, among others.
The headquarters is located in Building Laboratory, Teaching and Research (ELDI).
The UPCT hosts every year tens of vocational training students to do their traineeship, as stated by José Antonio Franco.
Virtual classes
In addition, the agreement provides that the UPCT available to the Directorate General of Training facilities and equipment Production Centre of Digital Content for teachers training modules may record their virtual classes.

The Center for Digital Content Production UPCT is also located in the ELDI building, and has more than 300 square meters equipped with the latest technologies for research and development in audiovisual issues Polimedia rooms, set, Chroma Key, control multicam, postproduction, sound studio and studio.
The Rector UPCT stressed that VET teachers have the same opportunities as teachers and researchers from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena to offer their virtual classes.
Pedro Antonio Sánchez stressed that this center has professional and the technology required to create audiovisual and multimedia digital content specifically designed for teaching and learning, which will allow improving existing materials or create new ones.
"This becomes more attractive and improves the quality of material VET students," he added.
