The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) published last Friday, March 27, the basis of calls for rehabilitation or reconstruction of homes in the area à Urban Renewal and Regeneration of Cartagena (ARRU) whose perimeter coincides basically the historic center of the city.

Homeowners that are to be rehabilitated or demolished for later reconstruction will later two months, until May 28, for the presentation of projects that can get to be subsidized by 35 percent.

The purpose of these calls, which are involved in the Ministry of Development, the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the city of Cartagena, is the recovery and repopulation of the Old Quarter by improving their housing and occupancy by residents.

In the event of rehabilitation of buildings or facilities is provided a game of 903,000 euros, which is expected to subsidize some 385 performances, which may not exceed 11,000 euros per dwelling or 35 percent of total costs.

The aid will be around 30,000 euros for demolished house that has been rebuilt, but can never exceed 35 percent of its real cost.

In addition applicants must commit to allocate 60 percent of the resulting buildable residence.

Helps both calls are granted by competitive tendering, first-served basis while supplies last and set items.

They may be ongoing or future actions, but not completed before the publication of this announcement.
