The First Degree International Congress of Trail Running accompany the VI Road Strengths.
The event was presented this morning to the media and is organized by the UCAM, the Spanish Armada and the city of Cartagena.
During the 16th and April 17th numerous conferences, roundtables and even exhibitions scientific work on sports like trail running is performed.
The presentation was attended by the Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, Colonel Director of the School of Marine General Albacete Fuster, Rafael Roldán and academic director of the Campus UCAM Cartagena, Juan Alfonso García.
Over two days, 16 and 17 April numerous activities such as conferences, round tables and even presentations of scientific papers will be developed.
At the congress topics such as sports organization, training, introduction of such evidence, how to prepare, etc. will be addressed.
The head of the Congress and the campus of the UCAM Cartagena, Juan Alfonso Garcia explained that Congress establishes a link between university knowledge and this test, so participation.
The congress is very productive for students and is open to anyone who wants to do, is not only aimed at college, has continued explaining Juan Alfonso. Besides scientific works from national and international universities will be presented.
The Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega has expressed its support for this conference: The City of Cartagena and in this case, the Department of Sports, has collaborated on many occasions with the UCAM and Navy.
Thanks to them we have been able to organize many events.
Some titles of the lectures are Methodology and applications of Deportivo training in endurance trail and raid, by Juan Manuel Garcia Manso, professor of the Masters in High Performance Sports COE and FCAFD of Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, or tables Activities and sports round like in nature: initiation, development and environment, among others.
Congressional rates include attendance at the event, lunch on day 16, coffee break of 16 and 17, the congress kit and attending a workshop with prices like 70 euros for general workers, or 35 euros as reduced prices for students UCAM, university students and Athletics Federation and Mountain.
The conference is limited to 350 people capacity and anyone interested can join.
Also a workshop for ten euros, which will present major sports brands is organized.
The event is having a high level of acceptance and participation. Peugeot and Decathlon sponsoring the event, and a large number of attendees expected.
A Youth School Contest in parallel where students of bachelor and TAFAD will present projects on sports activities are also organized.
The winners will receive gift certificates from Decathlon.
