On Monday March 23 the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ALDE), the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Cartagena (COEC), together with the Institute of Qualifications of the Region of Murcia (ICUAM), held the information day the recognition of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal education.
At the conference attended technical career guidance, workers, unemployed and entrepreneurs interested in improving the recognition of the professionalism of its employees.
COEC vice president, Antonio Betancourt, welcomed the attendees, while Francisco García-Valenzuela, director of the ALDE, was commissioned to present day.
Valenzuela said the success of the recognition of skills, due to the importance of using professional skills of workers to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
This will mean the possibility of obtaining the Certificate of Competence, may acquire title Vocational Training.
Ana Gomez ICUAM coach, was the speaker at the event and in charge of exposing the procedure PREAR.
This technique consists in the recognition, evaluation, accreditation and registration of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training.
Once the event is over, three of the participants told their personal experience on their way through the process, and the benefits and advantages that the verification of their professional skills have resulted in both their work and personal life.
