The Governing Council has approved an agreement between the Community, through the Presidential and Employment, the Public State Employment Service and the Ministry of Education for the National Vocational Training Centre Occupational Cartagena is qualified as a national reference center in the field of chemistry.
This new cataloging allow make available to employers and employees offering training leading nationally in terms of laboratories and workshops equipped with advanced technological means in the professional area of ​​chemistry in various fields such as chemical processing, analysis and control , polymer processing, pharmaceutical and chemical or pulp, paper and cardboard.
The documentation will also allow increasing training in the chemical area thanks to increased funding from the Ministry to receive the training center, which will enable over this year more than 300 students from forming in the center.
According to the 'Insert Report' conducted by the Ministry of Presidency and Employment courses promoted by the Community in the field of chemistry are, along with the agricultural sector, those with the highest rate of employment, for more than 60 percent of students taking a course get a job within six months.
