The jury mode Woodwind Competition between strings and brass has already chosen the ten young performers passing the final after semi-final held this week in two rounds, Tuesday and Wednesday, given the large number of participants have gathered in this specialty.

Students from different conservatories in the region, specifically Cieza, Cartagena, Murcia, Lorca, Jumilla and San Javier, staged its second day on Wednesday and did enjoy the large crowd that attended the semifinal.

The Jury of this modality, consisting of Pedro José Macia Campillo, Virginio Narro Navalon, Mª José Brown Murcia, Andreo Julian Jimenez and Antonio José Ramón García, the choice was very complicated, therefore the number of participants and the quality of their performances resulting woodwind finalists in the eighteenth edition between strings and brass:

This mode will be responsible for closing the loop Concert Contest Finals between strings and brass, which will take place on April 16, at 18.00 pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, where finalists Woodwinds will defend in the second work chosen for the contest.

Be that day when the awards will be decided, taking along with other details public, in the closing ceremony which will take place on May 8, at 20.00 pm in the Auditorium of El Batel.

NEXT Semifinals

Next week will be held the semifinals of piano, string and wind metal, namely Monday, Tuesday and Thursday respectively, thus beginning the first part of each concert at 16.30 and the second at 18.30. All Auditions are held in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena.
