Leonardo DaVinci and Emperor Augustus guide of the five routes with the City of Cartagena will release the heritage of the city in a unique and different way, taking advantage of the arrival of visitors during holidays
Overlooking the arrival of tourists are expected to visit us during this Holy Week, the Department of Tourism of the City of Cartagena, through Cartagena Port of Cultures, has prepared five guided tours aimed at the whole family, to publicize the heritage of the city in a different way, and with two protagonists of emergency in some of them, Leonardo DaVinci and Emperor Augustus.
As explained by the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, Easter is living on the streets, children are of tions and believe that the centers of Port of Culture and Museums should be prepared for families and visitors, that the latter and Cartagena have no family busy.
These routes will take over the routes that have been held over the weekend of March, and already come to an end.

The exhibition Leonardo Da Vinci, the flight of the mind, in the Castillo de la Concepción, will run daily from Easter accompanied by a professional guide or even guided Saturday the Renaissance genius himself, who explained in individual visitors their inventions for land, water and air.
The exhibition contains a dozen pieces made from various manuscripts and sketches of Leonardo, as the Codex Atlanticus, 1490.
The show includes a reproduction of the wings, six feet long, bike and bust Leonardo, reproduced full scale from the original found in the birthplace of Da Vinci.
The exhibition also features the chariot, the swing bridge, helicopter, parachute and other inventions.
Sunday and Monday of Holy Week, the exhibition will host activities for children, with mysteries and probas ingenuity.
One of the most original routes will be designed to show the history of Cerro de la Concepción, the highest point of the old town, part of the history of Cartagena from its first settlers. Asclepios, 2000 years of a hill, will release the influence of this hill that rises above the Roman theater, is crowned by a medieval castle that has been so important to Cartagena who became his shield.
The visit, which includes Elevator, Castle and Roman Theatre, will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.
VISITING FAMILY
All routes are focused on groups, but two of the initiatives are specifically designed for children and their families.
In addition to experience with DaVinci, Museum of Roman Theatre in Cartagena offers the possibility of a family activity, where you can discover the Roman society, religion and political groundwork, how were the great buildings of shows in the Roman Empire;

In The Journey of August to Carthago Nova, Emperor Augustus himself explain how transformed a city of brick in a marble through the most representative buildings of ancient Carthago Nova: Teatro Romano, Barrio del Roman Forum and the Augusteum.
This tour will take place Thursday and Friday.
