The Ciberemprendimiento contest, Comenius Regio project, called Entrepreneurs of tomorrow has given awards to the winning students of 3rd and 4th of ESO Institute of Isaac Peral.
The competition is led by the City of Cartagena, through the Local Development Agency and Employment UPCT and school.
The project is approved by the Autonomous Agency for European Educational Programmes and funded by the European Union, with a total budget of 29,500 euros.
The president of the ALDE, Francisco Garcia Valenzuela, the contest aims to bring corporate culture to students in 3rd and 4th of ESO, promote among younger knowledge of entrepreneurship and new technologies in a practical way.
Thus we have tried to promote entrepreneurship in the field of ICT and that this will cause a change of mindset in young people as an alternative to work.
Students who participated in the contest conducted groups of two to four people and edited a video with your business idea, for which they were trained in technological tools and business advice.
The director of IES Isaac Peral, José Martinez explained that under the agreement, students have had access to courses taken at UPCT on entrepreneurship.
The prizes are:
1st PRIZE: Gift voucher worth 500 euros to the team, to redeem related to new information technology products.
2nd PRIZE: Gift voucher worth 300 euros to the team, to redeem related to new information technology products.
