The older group participating in the program A walk through the history of Cartagena organized by the Department of Social Services, are highly topical, since so far in March, have been two interesting activities.
The first was a presentation by teacher i mpartida Training Centre of the ALDE, Fernando Baños, on salt, its history, how to remove it and its influence on the typical dishes of the Mar Menor, and the development of Asian cauldron and coffee, typical in our city.
The second was a v isit to the Mina Groups Vicenta de La Union, which was also attended by students of the Workshop for the Arts.
The latter activity was a guide who explain to those present everything related to the first and only underground mine in the Region of Murcia musealised and equipped for public visits.
