The European Business and Innovation Cartagena (CEEIC), an agency of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, to be attached to the Instituto de Fomento (Info), has driven process reengineering in seven companies in the region in the framework of support for innovation in small and medium enterprises, InnoEmpresa.
The CEEIC is responsible for managing and paying the aid of this -dedicated program in this last call to the reengineering of processes for the implementation of systems analysis and control-that have served to that recipient firms implement innovative management systems In order to provide greater value to the organization.
In total, the CEEIC managed around 35,000 euros in aid.
InnoEmpresa aid program in a specific line on organizational innovation and advanced management that seeks the adoption of new innovative business models that have an impact on improving different areas of the company.
Funding obtained through InnoEmpresa helps the recipient firms to increase competitiveness seeking alternatives such as differentiation and added value that can be achieved with design, product quality and development and implementation of innovations in information systems and management.
These measures allow them based on better information when making decisions that will result in more complete and efficient results.
This project has emphasized a new concept as it is reengineering, based on the idea that they are not products, but the processes that create them which lead companies to long term success.
With this philosophy, the program seeks to strengthen its competitiveness surpassing them every day and innovating in systems and management methods.
It is for this reason that this project is intended to SMEs in the region undergo a reengineering process in all areas of the company: procurement, technical area, internal logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, shipping and ancillary processes and transmission information and communication between departments.
Companies that have participated in this program are English Brothers, Sports Equipments, Cano-English Recoveries Agency Marí-esteem Blázquez, Tubacero, Marife Moncada Mirror and Herfru.
It's small and medium enterprises in different parts of the Region of Murcia.
To carry out this project, the CEEIC has enjoyed the cooperation of Sensei, Unita Bureau, Visualtrans and Targit.
The seven firms have succeeded in establishing the traceability system for warehouse management 'business intelligence', a software tool for decision-making, and enterprise resource planning.
