Cartagena has starred Day Flag of Red Cross. About thirty volunteers have taken to the streets to ask for help from anyone who wants to collaborate.
The contributions will go to Children in Social Difficulties.
The City Council has participated in the alms of the Feast of the Banderita with a petitoria table on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, at the gates of the Town and where councilors Antonio Calderon and Isaiah Camarzana have served as volunteers Palace, getting a collection of 730 euros.
The Banderita is one of the main sources of funding for Red Cross, which serves about 15,000 people a year in Cartagena. Thanks to these contributions can take action in areas such as social, health, humanitarian and development.
The benefits are achieved with the collected contributions go directly to fund various programs held in Cartagena Red Cross.
This year's proceeds will benefit vulnerable children in Cartagena, with which volunteers develop various programs and projects, with objectives ranging from proper nutrition, promoting leisure activities or initiatives to prevent school failure.
