Ninety teams in the XXXV School of Gymnastics Competition (11/03/2015)

The participants of the XXXV School of Gymnastics Competition were divided into 90 teams aged between 3 and 17 years. 600 children representing 19 schools and sports facilities.

With the crowded hall, teams delighted the audience with their artistic and athletic skills.

More than 2,500 spectators filled the Municipal Hall Wssell Guimbarda, yesterday afternoon.

The audience gave the choreographing small and old.

The color, light and music were protagonists next to the marina pace of participating teams.

The main objective of this competition is to encourage daily learning and exploit the educational values â€‹â€‹that emerge from the spirit of the competition, and considering that the sport is essential in the formation of children.

The competition began in value and showed the audience, technical and sporting skills of students in the Municipal Schools Gymnastics, organized in seven sports categories:

-Chupetas-Handsfree

-Prebenjamín-Handsfree

-Benjamin-Handsfree

-Alevín-Ball and handsfree.

-Infant-Rings

-Junior-Ball and rope

-Senior-Rope and clubs

The sporting event was led by 18 skilled technicians in this mode, which valued the enthusiasm and sportsmanship with which participants performed their exercises.

Finally they held an exhibition of Gymnastics Club Cartagena Project, which has been working with the Department of Sports since 1986.

This competition is part of the program of Sports School Age, jointly organized by the City of Cartagena and the Directorate General of Physical Activity and Sport of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. The awards ceremony was conducted by Eduardo Ros Navy, Sports Activities Coordinator City of Cartagena.

-Pabellón Los Dolores.

-Pabellón Espada.

-Pabellón El Algar.
