The track has been featured in the morning for students in fifth and sixth grade school Gabriela Mistral with CA Elcano in municipal court, in one of the activities organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, through the Program ADE.
The day began with a tour of the track to teach students the areas where the athletics are usually performed.
The president of CA Elcano, Alfredo Castilla explained the various indications regarding this sport.
Later, the students were able to practice the disciplines of athletics as the shot put, javelin, high jump or speed.
The day was led by coaches and athletes as Alfredo Castilla, Cristina Garcia, Alberto and Javier Ferrer Elcano Athletics Club and Athletic Club UCAM Cartagena.
The Gabriela Mistral not know the track as it has a great tradition in this sport.
From the school and a club who have educated elite athletes emerged.
The day has also served as preparation for the Third Inter-Municipal League Athletics, to be held next April.
The ADE is organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the Association of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Region of Murcia .
