On day 4, the Basic Operations Course Restaurant Bar was closed. The Agency for Local Development and Employment, collaborating with the Regional Employment and Training takes occupational training courses free.
The course has 290 classroom hours and is aimed at young children, under thirty.
Occupations Training courses are free and are financed by the European Social Fund.
They have professional certificates and aim for unemployed training that contributes to the acquisition of skills and qualifications to promote quality employment.
The course professional certificate level 1 and consists of the following modules:
- Basic Service Restaurant Bar: Application of standards and health and hygiene conditions in restoration Using the basic equipment Restaurant and assistance in preservice, Basic food and beverage service and post-service tasks in the restaurant.
- Procurement, Beverages and Fast Food: Procurement and storage of food and drinks at the bar, Preparation and Serving drinks and fast food at the bar.
- Professional Practice Module No Work: This module is composed of 80 hours worked in catering companies in Cartagena, T Aperia Casa Tomas and La Tartana.
The goal is that students are able to face future employment in a restaurant and so make a more complete training.
A note to note is that six course students will perform these placements of Portugal within the Mobility Program Leonardo Da Vinci managed by the ALDE, along with four students cooking course.
Practices are woodcock and last a month.
Students will be accompanied by an instructor who will coordinate the practices in Portugal.
Leonardo Da Vinci The scholarship covers accommodation, travel, spending money, and tutoring practices.
New this year is the authorization of SEF to manage these practices abroad, so that students can obtain the Certificate of Profesionalida d after the course.
