This morning was handed the collection of Cabo de Palos Cross 201 4 to four associations: Aidemar of San Javier, the Little Sisters of the Poor Cartagena, the Cancer Association of Cartagena and Assido.
Thanks to the contribution of the 1,500 participating runners, has managed to raise four thousand euros, dividing thousand euros each association.
The event was attended by the Councillor for Sports City of Cartagena, Diego Ortega and San Javier, Carlos Albaladejo, besides the president of Athletics Club La Manga, Martin Fuentes and members of its board.
The trial, held last July, was organized by the Athletics Club La Manga, in collaboration with the Department of Sports Cartagena and San Javier.
The Cross is seven years and has grown little by little, they explained the president, Martin Fuentes: The Cross began its first edition with 700 runners and now, in the sixth year have been counted 4,000 participants.
For seven years have raised a total of 15,000 euros in grants have been distributed by various associations.
