The Youth Resource Centre hosted the Wednesday meeting of the promoter group preparing for her December this activity called Global Citizen Action, aimed at promoting coexistence in neighborhoods and with the collaboration of the city council
On Saturday March 14, Plaza de la Merced will become the axis of Global Citizen Action, an activity that is part of the project Intercultural Community (ICI), driven by the Social La Caixa in 40 territories of Spain, and Cepaim developed by the Foundation in collaboration with the City of Cartagena.
The Global Citizen Action, is an activity aimed at promoting coexistence and interaction among neighbors who share a territory, and also involves an opening of the realities of these neighborhoods to citizens of Cartagena.
To prepare for this activity, last Wednesday was held at the Youth Resource Centre a meeting of the core group, which since December has been working on it.
The meeting was attended technicians and volunteers of the entities participating in the Global Citizen Action, including the departments of Social Care, Education and Youth, as well as locals who have been part of this community process.
N designed the image from the previous work done with different schools and institutions of the territory that coexists alongside the slogan appeared in the neighborhood, will accompany the development of this activity.
