Orange today introduced its 4G services in Cartagena.
These services are available through the deployment of fourth generation network in the city of Orange, which involved an investment of 3 million euros for the modernization of the access network and transmission and specific investments in 4G technology.
In order to publicize the launch, José Luis Martí Chiva, manager of Institutional Relations Orange in the Levant, has held a meeting with Jose Cabezas Navarro, Deputy Mayor of the City of Cartagena, as well as Joaquin Mowing Martinez, Councilman New Technologies, during which he explained the operator plans to launch these new generation services.
Currently the operator provides 4G coverage throughout the town of Cartagena, from the port area to Los Dolores, including Bohío area, tailings, quarries and Polygons Santa Ana and Head Beaza.
New Technologies Councilman stressed the commitment of Orange by placing Cartagena at the forefront of communications, giving the town a network with the most advanced technology available on the market, allowing 85 percent of citizens navigate speeds up to 10 times faster than current mobile networks.
Mowing recalled advanced communication networks that already has the municipality, since this service is in addition to that already provided in a while other operators such as Vodafone and Movistar and offers Cartagena the ability to choose the offer that best suited to your needs.
