A new edition of Municipal Petanque Championship, in this case the seventh, gave start Tuesday and runs until May, a total of 18 days, with the participation of nine teams.

The starting signal was given by Councillor Social Care, Antonio Calderon, who starred in the traditional kick-off held in the fields of neighborhood José María Lapuerta, before the components participating teams, which are Barrio Peral, Eterna Youth A and B, Mills Marfagones A and B, Alums, Virgen de la Caridad and Vista Alegre.

The first day of competition takes place on Wednesday 25th February and faces the following equipment: Eternal Youth A / Pearl District;

Marfagones Molinos B / Cartagena III;

Alum / Virgen de la Caridad and Vista Alegre / Eternal Youth B.
