The candidate of Unión Progreso y Democracia (UPyD) to the mayoralty of Cartagena, Pedro Antonio García, has called for the "immediate resignation" of Pilar Barreiro, after news yesterday that the Supreme Court has summoned to testify as imputed to the national deputy and mayor Cartagena, for his alleged involvement in the reclassification of the land of Novo Carthago.
