The Polytechnic University of Cartagena has also been featured on the morning of Sunday, hosting the 2nd edition of its popular race with the Rector of Cross Trophy 2015 Campus Mare Nostrum, in collaboration with the University of Murcia Trophy.
The esplanade of parking UPCT witnessed the start and finish on an absolute date with two laps and an approximate total length of 4,500m.
The overall winner of it has been the athlete Automenor Cartagena Cross lvaro Franco, finishing in 16:29 and also proclaimed the winner at the Rector of Cross Challenge in athletes participating only UPCT.
Behind him, his fellow club Francisco Conesa, 2nd also in the senior category after stopping the clock in 16.40, ahead Athlete Triathlon Club Murcia Julio Sanchez, 3rd senior ending at 16:43.
On the women's side, the first athlete in goal would Mª Jess Gaona, Mandarache Cartagena, 1st in the senior category with a time of 23:38.
2nd in goal was the independent Miriam Sanchez, occupying the same position in the senior category and taking the women's victory at the President's Trophy, being 3rd overall and winner in junior category Pilar Lpez, Athletics La Union.
In addition, athletes from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and Murcia University fight for the win at the Trofeo Campus Mare Nostrum next April 26, in the framework of a Fun Run at the University of Murcia will decide the top summing the scores obtained by students in one and another test.
