The IMPLICA2 Program (Young People Engaged in Cartagena) of the Youth Council in collaboration with the Department of International Cooperation of Cartagena Red Cross and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, has organized a course to international development cooperation with the intention to publicize the fundamental concepts of the various elements that make up this joint reality, while introducing participants in some early practice this professional field and disseminating basic employment and training resources.
The main objectives of this training, both theoretical and practical, is to know the causes that give substance to the reality of international cooperation and the different aspects of it consists, enter the working dynamics of cooperation projects and facilitate knowledge professional resources as supplementary training or professional output.
This course will be held in the Student House (Street à ngel) during Mondays and Wednesdays from April 22 until May 20 in time from 17.30 to 20.30 h.
with a duration of 27 hours.
Registration costs 10 euros (5 euros for volunteers / ace IMPLICA2) and held at the Youth Resource Center, Monday through Friday 9-14 and 17-20 hours.
Students have the option of getting UPCT 1 ECTS credit.
The course will be taught by Luis Javier Roca Jorquera, BA in Political Science, Department Coordinator for International Cooperation in Cartagena Red Cross and educator in the Collective Adult Education Carmen Conde.
