The ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Jaime Muñoz-Delgado, who has chaired the Government Delegate of the Region of Murcia, Joaquín Bascuñana and Council of Safety and Tourism, Mariano García and Carolina Palazón
The Underwater Weapon celebrates its centenary and for this reason an exhibition of models and photographs of submarines in the Naval Museum of Cartagena was inaugurated.
From today until March 22, will be exposed in the temporary exhibition hall of its headquarters.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief of Navy Admiral.
The Government Delegate of the Region of Murcia, Joaquín Bascuñana and Council of Safety and Tourism, Mariano García and Carolina Palazón attended the inauguration.
The images belong to the selection of those that have been submitted to underwater photography contest organized by the Navy.
The models were provided by different institutions and individuals for exposure.
Before cutting the ribbon that would inaugurate the exhibition, the Chief of Staff of the Navy Admiral has devoted a message which has sought to value the submarine weapon and give the message to the divers, the Underwater Weapon and the city of Cartagena of the importance that the Navy gives its submarines and base in the port city with which we feel united and involved.
The Chief of Navy Admiral along to the Government of the Region of Murcia have cut the tape, thus being inaugurated the exhibition of models and photographs of submarines.
