The town of Cartagena have a Plan of Action for Sustainable Energy (PAES).
A lack of approval by the plenary, this morning the text has been favorably reviewed by unanimity in the Information Planning Commission which was chaired by Councillor of Greater Francisco Espejo.
The SEAP aims to achieve European funds to carry out a policy to reduce CO2 emissions and increase the use of renewable energies in another 20, comparing the years 2008 and 2020. This is called project 20-20- 20.
The plan proposes 63 actions and measures in buildings and facilities, municipal and non-municipal, residential buildings, public lighting, municipal car park, public transportation and private and commercial transportation.
All of them involve the mobilization of some investments worth 359.2 million euros, performed, mostly, privately and always optimizing public investment.
The Commission Planning and Infrastructure has also favorably reviewed was unanimously final approval of Amendment No. 9 spot PGMO Cartagena, integrating urban soil so far in the system of port communications Dock Escombreas, pursuant to an order Ministerial Development.
On the table has been the proposed final approval of the specific Amendment No 8 PGMO in the field of Performance Unit UPE8, Finca Beriso, waiting for the mandatory reports of general Branches of Natural Environment and Quality Environmental.
