GEO agents raided the ship where just hiding the load at which the traffickers were preparing to remove the drug

The National Police have arrested eleven people, seven Spanish and four Colombians, members of an international criminal organization that was introduced in Spain 510 kilos of pure cocaine, from Colombia hidden in a container with a legal burden of bovine hides .
The investigation began a year ago when the track of various groups involved in the smuggling of narcotics settled in Cartagena, Madrid, Granada and Almería was followed.
The agents found last December, members of the organization were raising their security measures to avoid detection by the police and there were signs that warned of the possibility of planning the imminent introduction of a large amount of cocaine from of Colombia.
Cali to Cartagena
The researchers noted how the traffickers had shipped from Cali, with stops in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia -both locations, a container with a legal burden of bovine hides, which could be hidden cocaine and whose final destination would be the port Valencia (Spain).
The container was subjected to strict control by the police officers who proved download in the Valencian port and its subsequent transfer, land, a building located in the industrial estate Cabezo Beaza of Cartagena.

The eleven detainees, aged between 26 and 54 years with multiple antecedents of drug trafficking, were sent to prison by order of the Court number two of Torrevieja (Alicante).
Seven of them are Spanish and the rest of Colombian nationality.
The police operation was carried out by the Group of Narcotics Police of Cartagena (Murcia), the Group 1 Narcotics UDYCO Costa del Sol in Malaga Provincial Police and the Provincial Police UDYCO Almeria;
in collaboration with specialists from different units GEO and the General Department of Logistics.
