In all, 30 candidates shortlisted about 200 registered, have been interviewed by the University about his career, values ​​and ideas to participate in research and development related to the integrated water cycle technologies and their possible application in " Smart Cities ".
"This scholarship offer me the opportunity to fulfill myself as an engineer in the field of research and carry out the practical part of the knowledge acquired," said Samuel Aznar, student of the Master of Engineering in Civil and Ports and one 30 candidates for the scholarships of the Chair Hidrogea-UPCT.
"What interests me most is that the scholarship is focused on a project on 'Smart Cities' and sustainability, and is focused on research," said Environmental Engineer, graduated from the UPCT, Jorge Domínguez.
They, along with 28 other candidates, participated in an interview that took place in the boardroom of Building Research Laboratories (ELDI) of the Polytechnic.
The Director of Operations Hidrogea, Mark Martin, stressed the illusion that the company has put into the Chair to begin work in the coming days.
"It allows us to be more related to the UPCT if possible, contribute to the training of future engineers and deepen strategic for the future of the company lines," he said.
Similarly, Martin has highlighted the value of the Network of Chairs as national benchmark project.
"The UPCT in this respect has been a pioneer and we believe it will be a guaranteed success," he concluded.
The company Hidrogea, integrated Chairs Network Technology Companies UPCT offers three fellowships for students or recent graduates of the School of Civil, Industrial and Teleco.
Fellows receive 500 euros a month for ten months.
