The Central Sports Hall today was the stage of the competition where athletes have participated throughout the region, an activity included in the program of School Age Sport organized by the municipality where the students of the school have highlighted the Trough

The colleges of the valley and Narwhal, have been both cartageneros schools that participated in the regional final of Playing Athletics in juvenile category, which was held Wednesday at the Central Pavilion Sports and included within the Sports Program School Age, organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena in collaboration with the Directorate General of Physical Activity and Sport of the Region of Murcia.

Schools of twenty municipalities in the region have gathered in this edition with teams in male and female form, such as Cartagena, Torre Pacheco, Lorca, Águilas, Fortuna, San Pedro del Pinatar, Beniel, Fuente Alamo, Mula, Abarán, Puerto Lumbreras, Mazarrón, San Javier, Murcia, Cehegín, La Union, Molina de Segura, Cieza, Los Alcazares, Yecla and Alguazas.

As regards the Cartagena athletes, highlighted the participation of students in the trough, finally, have jumped on the podium during the awards ceremony and medals, chaired by the mayor of Sports, Diego Ortega.

In addition to reward teams ranked 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, there have been diplomas for all participants.

The tests consisted of career 10x10, jumping rope, triple jump from standstill, release the ball from sitting, launching a soft javelin relay: 5x1 and 5x2.

Besides Diego Ortega Madrid, the awards ceremony was attended by the Head of the Department of Youth and Sports, Eduardo Segarra, the Head of Sports City of Cartagena, Eduardo Armada, and the President of the Union of Federations of the Region of Murcia, Jose Maria Lopez in a sporty and festive day, where athletes have had a great time enjoying athletics.
