The Youth Council of the City of Cartagena has open until March 6 the deadline for submission of proposals by young artists to perform at the Free Speech Area of Museum Night 2015 will take place on Saturday 16 May.

The open and multitudinous nature of this celebration set it as an ideal platform to showcase various artistic projects and proposals, such as music, dance, theater and performance among others, accompanying the free opening night and participating museums.

Thus, for the fourth consecutive year the City has made ​​an open call individually allowing free presentation of artistic proposals from artists, and collectively that upon selection of a jury, will become part of the official program of the Night of the Museums.

Projects may correspond to any creative form capable of being shown in Space Free Artistic Expression, located in the Plaza del Rey with a maximum duration of 45 minutes between the hours of 21.00 to 01.00 h.

The Free Speech Area have a scenario of 10 x 10 meters and will be equipped with sound systems Line Array PA 6000 W, monitors, microphone, DI, Set Dj projector (1024x768) screen 4x3 meters and numark mix module VDJ ;

and a lighting system and suitable for the implementation of selected infrastructure projects.

The organization of the Night of Museums, provide for the realization of the projects chosen space enabled the technical characteristics listed in the previous paragraph, assuming no expenses related to caches.

Although the provision contemplated to selected projects in aid relating to production costs, with a maximum grant of 200 euros;

the exact amount payable for each project will be decided by a specialist, depending on the needs that are specified in this jury.

In this way the organization expects that a significant number of artistic proposals can freely join those which compose the official program and that develop within or in the vicinity of each of the participating museum centers.
