The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel García-Margallo, closed on Tuesday afternoon in Cartagena the conference on 40 years of Democratic Transition in Spain, organized by the Regional Assembly of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, was in charge of presenting the minister, who in his presentation focused on the Spanish Foreign Policy, giving a historical perspective on the same throughout the whole period of transition.
And how could it be otherwise, given recent events internationally, in his speech, García Margallo made ​​clear its position against Islamist terrorism jihad.
The audience attending the lecture, held at the Sala Isaac Peral Facultdad Sciences Company (formerly CIM), a large group of councilors of the municipal corporation, was also the president of the Regional Assembly, Francisco Celdrán, deputies thereof, and UPCT Rector, José Antonio Franco.
