Two projects LIFE + European of great importance in the panorama of biodiversity conservation, fly (BIGTREES4LIFE) of the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Foundation, and Garbancillo of Tallante, School of Agricultural Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, subscribe Tuesday a collaboration agreement to undertake joint actions to help improve the environment of Natura 2000. Both entities have signed similar agreements with the Botanical Garden of Castilla-La Mancha (JBCLM), which has organized some lectures devoted to the importance of disclosure in the conservation of biodiversity and landscape.
The intention of the speakers is to explain to the audience how two seemingly very different initiatives, conservation of mature forests and unique trees against preservation of a small plant endangered, pursue the same goals and try to achieve the same results : protecting our biodiversity, landscape and culture through the protection of a few species or exemplary "umbrella".
To reinforce this commitment to environmental awareness through knowledge, the information day started at 11am with the signing of cooperation agreements by Fernando Carreño Marín JBCLM managing director, César-Javier Palacios on behalf of the Felix Foundation Rodríguez de la Fuente and Juana Garcia Butler Entity Land Stewardship Conservation Garbancillo of Tallante.
