The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities working on the statement of Secondary School Santa Lucía de Cartagena as preferential treatment center to deal with the uniqueness of the educational community and provide it with means and systems improvement for school success.
At present, the IES Santa Lucia is included officially in the new order of posts and centers preferential treatment, leading to an increased stability of the workforce and the adoption of other specific support measures.
The secretary general of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, Manuel Marcos Sánchez, visited this morning the center, where he held a working meeting with the management team and the teaching thereof.
"From the Department we are taking all measures within our reach to meet the needs of the center in education, although a greater involvement of families and students is needed to achieve a better living environment conducive to teaching and learning "said Manuel Marcos Sánchez.
Currently, the center already has other special measures, such as lower and measures to stabilize the templates ratios, allowing give continuity to three temporary teachers who already exercised their work in this institute last year.
Furthermore, it is working with the school management and has offered Coexistence Team to address extraordinary circumstances.
The Department is finalizing the process for approving the order regulating stations and schools in proferente educational attention.
This rule will give continuity and improve educational center projects that, by the characteristics of their students and their social environment, they need additional resources.
The regulations also reinforces the recognition received by teachers chosen as preferred destination education centers, given their uniqueness and more demanding.
The IES Santa Lucia, in studying about 320 students, is located in the district of the same name and welcomes students of colleges and Primary Education Hannibal, Hasdrubal and Santa Maria.
