I Regata Costa Calida, Estrella Levante Grand Trophy for Cruise, has had this morning officially presented at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid.
The promotional event was attended by Juan Carlos Ruiz, Minister of Industry and Tourism of the Region of Murcia;
Council of Tourism of Cartagena, Águilas and San Pedro del Pinatar: Carolina Palazón, Clara Valverde and Antonio Martínez;
and the Head of Communications and External Relations Estrella Levante, Juan Miguel López, and technical director of Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, Eduardo Gallego ..
The race was scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 31, but his departure from San Pedro is still delayed a few days by the storm that will hit this weekend the coasts of the region.
This is the irst p proof covering the entire coastline of the Region of Murcia, from San Pedro del Pinatar to Águilas, stopping at Cartagena.
It is organized by the Real Club Regatta Cartagena and Sports Association Juan Montiel of Águilas in collaboration with the Directorate General of Youth and Sports, Tourism and Development of the Community of Murcia and the municipalities of San Pedro del Pinatar, Cartagena and Águilas .
It have registered about 45 cruises competing in the IR2, IR3 and IR4 classes, with a distance of 60 nautical miles.
For Councillor for Tourism of the City of Cartagena, Palazón Carolina, this race highlights the interest of promoting nautical tourism, within the wide offer of the municipality of Cartagena.
