The authors have presented their novel written entirely by texting |
Javier Ruescas and Francesc Miralles presented his work Pulsation, a success of juvenile literature, with 600 students.
A written four hands and candidate Hache 2015 Jugendliteraturpreis novel. The writers are in Cartagena from yesterday, where they held an exclusive meeting with young people from the Intercultural Center for Children and this morning visited the IES Mediterranean to continue in the auditorium UPCT to 600 high school students.
The novel is written for four hands and its distinguishing feature is told through text messages. This is the first novel ever written in this way in Spain, as this novel is developed through text messages, except a dialogue with the various characters.
A work in which both authors had to write a very clear previous script. The book is divided into 20 chapters and each chapter corresponds to a day in the novel.
We were to have everything very organized.
We would share the chapters, explained Javier Ruescas.
As for the nomination, we are very proud to be nominated.
We were surprised by the involvement of students, teachers, Town Hall, volunteers.
I think it is the best organized literary act I've seen in my life, said Francesc Miralles.
During the meeting the authors have enjoyed motivation and presence of 600 young people. What we like is that not only read the book, but have full knowledge as the work thoroughly in a more intrinsic way, and well demonstrated in the questions asked, explained Ruescas, in fact some questions have helped us to see how our novel, seen from her eyes, has continued.
Are CHANGING THE LITERATURE?
The fact that different write a novel opens the debate on the changes of literature. Ruescas, has ensured that children's literature is having an evolution.
The barriers are those that want us to ourselves.
A different work, which arose through the desire of the challenge. Did not want to give up the literature, mystery, suspense, all elements, just wanted to do it with a different language, ie the language most commonly used by boys and girls who will read the book, explained Francesc Miralles.
A novel that certainly has not left indifferent to young people who have witnessed so excited about the meeting with the authors.
A different literature, focused to a very young and it shows that there are many ways to make a novel public.
