Thursday January 22, at 20:30, starts in Room A of the Auditorium The Batel of Cartagena Cycle of the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, a first concert in which members of the SORM be accompanied by the prestigious Canadian violinist Lara St. John, who also directed this concert.
The violinist has appeared as soloist with the most renowned orchestras in the world and, at present, is considered one of the best by means such as Los Angeles Times, New York Times or the Strad Magazine.
This concert will be interpreted Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Piazzolla Four Seasons of Buenos Aires;
two works with conceptual similarities but different in their language and expression.
The Four Seasons Vivaldi composed between 1723 and 1725 for violin, strings and begin the concert.
In the second part of the concert will perform the Four Seasons Buenos Aires composed in the second half of the twentieth century by Astor Piazzolla arranged by Leonid Desyatnikov for violin and string orchestra.

These four pieces were created in isolation, but in El Batel will be interpreted as a set, thanks to arrangements Desyatnikov, develops a close relationship with the work of Vivaldi.
