The conference on Discrimination and Diversity for health personnel was held on Friday January 16 at the health center in Los Dolores.

The health of Sorrows welcomed on Friday a session on Discrimination and Diversity for Health Professionals mbito.
On Friday 23 will be the turn of San Antón, culminating on Friday 30 with health center in the East Zone of the municipality.
This event is organized through the joint work carried out by the Health Management of Greater 2 of the city and the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena.
Aimed at health personnel working in these centers, the primary key is prevention of racial discrimination.
The main objective of the session is to transmit the knowledge to prevent ethnic discrimination.
In addition, during the talk were unveiled various resources and activities that the City Council are conducted to promote intercultural coexistence in Cartagena.
The sessions are aimed at health professionals and administrative health centers in the municipality. The outpatient Los Dolores was the one who opened this series of talks of social integration.
In the meeting held at the health center in Los Dolores different situations and performance parameters were proposed to complement and contribute their work daily with patients, thus influencing in the proceedings with the immigrant population.
During the session were released a basic understanding of key concepts such as discrimination, different cultural practices or existing European legislation.
In this way has generated debate, solving and discussing potential conflicts of multicultural character that may arise.
The talk has had a successful acceptance.
The activity will be repeated on Friday January 23 at the health center of San Antón and Friday 30 in the center of the east of Cartagena.
