December ended the year with 116 more unemployed than in November despite the holiday season
From United Left-Greens Cartagena returns to the load with respect to abnormal functioning of economic activity and employment in the town of Cartagena that for the second consecutive month, shows a contradictory trend with the regional and national levels in relation to registered unemployment.
Again the figure back above 22,000 unemployed and stops (22,100) registered in the offices of SEF, representing 116 more unemployed than there were last November.
If the whole country the decline in December was just over 64,000 people and in the region has been of 407, all framed in a fall in the labor force, which helps to interpret these data for continuous output of young people leaving our country and people who have lost confidence in finding a job waiving registration in employment offices in Cartagena the situation is even more serious, since their anti trend behavior has its own causes.
For IU-Green data for December ratify the recent complaint filed by the formation of the irregular behavior of the services sector in our town.
"No one believes that the Christmas season and the rise of trade and catering only 131 more people have been employed in this sector," said José Luis Romero, manager of the Secretariat of Economy, Employment and Finance and candidate for the training leftist mayor of Cartagena.
The behavior of other sectors is even worse for construction and industry bring more than 250 new unemployed, thus the absence of any sector reaffirms ability to pull employment in the private sector.
"If the PP not urgently calls for social and economic operators and opposition parties to discuss the situation, will be contributing to the worsening" said José Luis Romero said, adding that "United Left-Greens is ready to remedy this situation, both national, regional and local ".
Romero recalled that the City budgets for 2015, IU-Greens introduced an amendment amounting to just over 6.5 million euros to put to work immediately, through public employment, people longest in unemployment, uninsured and with dependents.
