The full council, meeting in regular session today, has agreed to a common front in support of the employees of the dealership cleaning Defense facilities in Cartagena, and have reflected the unanimous adoption, a joint motion by all local groups.

In it, the Plenary Council agrees to urge the Ministry to ensure that those employed immediately receive the remuneration due to them for their work and to take appropriate measures so that they are guaranteed jobs affected, regardless of the measures taken against your company for breach of contract.

And employment has remained protagonist of the plenary, through a motion by the spokesman of the municipal group IU-Green, Jaime Cayetano Molto, requesting the convocation of the Bureau of Local Employment.

Responsible for responding has been the mayor of employment, Joaquín Mowing, who highlighted the good data recorded this year, 1,627 fewer unemployed in November 2014, since November last year, which has been marred only by the fact last month and it is not structural, but cyclical.

Mowing also recalled other factors, such as membership in the Social Security, with 1,155 more in Cartagena contributors along this 2014.

Finally, Councilman Jobs has announced that in January will launch five courses that were requested by the City to the Employment Service and Training (SEF) and, yesterday, the approval of this request is communicated, for amount of about one million euros. All this shows that we seek employment and training for Cartagena.

In total, after approval of the agenda , have been discussed in the full 32 initiatives between motions, requests and questions.
