Antonio Garrido, director of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering, also participated in the code now develops
One of the three technical coordinators of the Guide to Implementing the Spanish Concrete Instruction, recently published by the Ministry of Development, is Professor at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) Antonio Garrido.
The Guide develops the Code of Instruction in the use of concrete in which different editions Garrido has been participating since 1990, in fact, the only building engineer in the drafting group.
Among professionals who coordinated Garrido for the preparation of the Guide is Antonio Sevilla, president of the Port Authority of Cartagena.
Both manuals are essential reference for architects, technical architects and engineers of roads, canals and ports in almost all public works and buildings.
"Is the Bible in structural concrete" exemplifies Garrido, director of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering UPCT.
This order is the second of this character received by Professor Garrido, who took the previous edition of the code.
This relationship occurs within the framework of the collaboration maintained for 25 years with the Technical Secretariat of this ministry.
